Surf Lessons

Experience the energy of the ocean at Gwithian Beach. From first-timers finding their feet to surfers looking to progress, our expert instructors will guide you every step of the way — helping you ride waves with confidence. All equipment is included, so you can simply turn up and enjoy an unforgettable session on the water.

Coasteering

Step into Cornwall’s wild edge with an unforgettable coasteering adventure on the stunning Lizard Peninsula or the iconic shores of Mousehole. Navigate rocky terrain, weave through secret caves, swim in turquoise water, and experience the raw beauty of the Atlantic coastline from a whole new angle.

Kayaking

Explore Cornwall’s spectacular coastline from the water, paddling through clear blue seas and into quiet, hidden coves. Journey beneath towering cliffs, uncover secret beaches, and experience places only reachable by kayak — all set against the dramatic backdrop of the beautiful Lizard Peninsula.

Paddleboarding

Stand-up paddleboarding offers a peaceful yet immersive way to experience the beauty of the Lizard Peninsula. Glide over calm, crystal-clear seas, explore hidden corners of the coastline, and take in sweeping ocean scenery. Our experienced instructors support you every step of the way, making each session safe, relaxed, and rewarding for all abilities.

Step things up with Mega Stand Up Paddle Boarding along the spectacular Lizard Peninsula. Our family of five (middle aged parents, two 21 year olds and a 16 year old) had a fantastic private coasteering session this Easter. Our guide Ruairi was very knowledgeable and took us on a fabulous route round to Hotpoint, with plenty of exciting jumps and fun tidal channels for everyone. We were lucky to have perfect conditions this year and the views of the coastline were absolutely stunning. We even saw seals! We have been coasteering a few times before but this was the best session we have done, and we would definitely return for another private session with Makai. Thank you.

The lesson was very informative and she really helped me improve my confidence and make quick progress from my one lesson I had previously at another surf school. We were lucky as there was only 2 of us on the lesson so we got excellent one on one coaching, helping us progress massively. He took time explaining how to read waves and what will be good or bad. Extra credit due as the weather was torrential rain and he came back down the stairs to help with carrying the buggy back up the flooded steps for our spectating family. Top lad.

He was upbeat, knowledgeable, really friendly and took great care of our youngest son Lucas (9) who hasn’t stopped talking about surfing since!
